Boating Classes, Courses & Educational Seminars in MA

Education Information

America's Boating Club - Southeastern New England clubs/squadrons conduct classes and seminars throughout the year, for both members and the general public. We cover eastern Massachusetts including Cape Cod and Rhode Island. Unless otherwise noted, Pre-registration is required to allow for course materials to be ordered.

An educated boater is a better boater! We offer a wide range of boating courses and seminars for all levels, including boat handling, navigation, boating rules and regulations, marine electronics, boat maintenance in the classroom, online, and on the water.

Choose from any full course or seminar that interests you. Courses are comprehensive, in-depth and usually require 12–16 hours over 6–10 weeks. Seminars are focused 2-hour workshops on a variety of boating subjects.

In this 4-hour workshop you will learn: how to determine
latitude & longitude, how to determine & plot a course, how to
determine a compass bearing. Plotting tools & practice charts
included.

attend this MA approved public boating course.
Students who successfully complete this course will receive
their Massachusetts Boating Safety Certificate.
